Worship | |||||||
Worship at St. Philip seeks to embody the vision set forth in the Directory for Worship in the Presbyterian Church (USA):
Our community gathers for worship in the sanctuary each Sunday morning at 8:30 and 11:00. Both services follow the classic order Additional midweek services enrich the seasons of Advent and Lent. |

Music | |||||||
Music shapes our worship. Soloists and small ensembles frequently lead the 8:30 service, while The St. Philip Choir sings weekly at 11:00. |
Our bell choir, children’s choir, and youth choir also participate regularly. At both services the majestic Fritts organ lifts our hearts and accompanies our songs. |

Children | |||||||
Children of all ages are welcome to worship with their families for the entire service. Children and youth also regularly participate in leading our worship as acolytes and liturgists. We provide worship activity bags with age appropriate activities to enrich worship for children. The worship bags are available in the narthex on the way into the sanctuary. | We also offer a well-staffed nursery for infants through age 3 in Room 106 in the Education Building. The 11:00 service includes a Conversation with Children and everyone is welcome to come forward. Afterwards, children age 3 - first grade may go with adult leaders to Second Hour Sunday School in Room 105. Parents pick up and sign out children from 2nd Hour following worship. |
